Artist Agreement / Disclaimer
This Artist Agreement is a legal agreement between you (either an individual artist or the legal authorized representative of a group/artist ) and Long Beach Culture.Org. If you are agreeing on the behalf of a group/artist to be bound by the same terms of this agreement, each reference to you in this agreement shall refer to each member of the group or the group as a whole, as applicable.
Under the terms of this agreement, you will permit us to include your material in our database, and allow us to make certain uses of your submitted material. If you provide us with sound recordings and/or other material (such as pictures, videos, song lyrics etc.) for use as part of our site, the following terms apply.
1 . License Grant
You hereby grant to us, and by the act of delivering Materials to us, a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to: (a) reproduce, distribute, publicly perform, publicly display and digitally perform submitted material in whole or in part (including the right to create compilations that include your songs) (b) create and use samples of submitted material solely for the purpose of demonstrating or promoting our or your products or services; (c) use any trademarks, service marks or trade names incorporated in submitted material; and (d) use the name, likeness of any individuals represented in the submitted material. For no monetary compensation.
2. Ownership
You retain ownership of the copyrights and all other rights to your songs, subject to the non-exclusive rights granted us by this agreement. You are free to grant similar rights to others during and after the term of this agreement. By the act of submitting materials, You agree to not post anything published, owned or copyrighted by anyone other than yourself.
3. Disclaimer
Long Beach Culture .Org is not responsible for any lost data resulting from the operation of the site and we strongly suggest that users maintain their own back up versions of all content submitted to this site. Long Beach Culture.Org is here for the distribution of original art. Obviously the art will go out to the public at large. It is possible, as with any form of mass media, that someone could unscrupulously use these for financial gain. We at Long Beach Culture.Org will do everything within our power to protect the rights of our Artists. Ultimately however, all rights and responsibilities belong to the Artist.
Long Beach Culture .Org shall be held harmless from any and all matters arising from use of this site.
